Colin Roberts is an experienced Chairman, Non-Executive Director, and Entrepreneur-in-Residence with over 20 years of leadership in healthtech venture building and research commercialisation. He has supported the growth of high-impact startups across the UK, working closely with universities, VCs, and corporate partners.

He currently serves as Chairman of Northern Light Microscopy, Non-Executive Director at Less Grey Imaging, and Strategic Advisor to PneumoWave, and advises spinouts from institutions including the University of Leeds. Previously, he was Operating Partner for Healthtech at Oxford Science Enterprises and Venture Building Director at the Pioneer Group, where he helped scale the UK’s largest life sciences incubator to a successful exit. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Toshiba Medical Visualization, Barco, and the medical imaging startup Voxar Ltd.

Colin brings deep expertise in product strategy, regulatory alignment, and international market entry, and is widely recognised for bridging the gap between innovation and commercial success in healthcare.
